ADT Acquires Video Alarm Service I-View Now

On October 17, ADT (ADT) announced that it is acquiring I-View Now. ADT is the leading smart home security provider and serves both residential and business customers. I-View Now is a leading video alarm verification service, and the acquisition will help ADT to prioritize emergency service responses and reduce false alarms for its customers.

 

Jet Equities detected the event at 4:34 pm. ADT’s stock had closed for the day at $7.01. The stock price spiked higher at the market open on October 18 and continued to rise throughout the day. ADT’s stock closed at $7.38 for an event-day gain of 5.3%.
